This policy explains which cookies the website ru-vi.online uses and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy. The website is operated by the RuVi team ("we", "us").
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others help us understand how the site is used.
2. Essential cookies
These cookies are always on, because the website cannot work properly without them. They do not track you across other websites.

3. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful. Until you agree, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. Advertising features and Google signals are turned off, and analytics is not linked to your account. If you later withdraw consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted.

We do not use advertising cookies and do not sell your data.
4. Browser storage
If you open the website through a friend's invitation link (?ref=…), the
invitation code is kept in your browser's local storage (ruvi.ref) until you
sign up, and then deleted. The website also remembers in local storage whether
you are signed in (ruvi.signedIn), to show the right button in the header.
Neither is sent anywhere except the invitation code, which is sent once with
your sign-up.
5. Your choice
When you first visit the website, a banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; if you block essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in on the website.
6. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
